P.C. Chakravorty & Co (Forwarders) Pvt. Ltd. was established in 1939. It is now nearing 70 years that the company has been successfully carrying on the assignments of Clearing and Forwarding job by Sea, Air and Land. The Company got its Custom license far way back in 1939 vide No. P-34. The license is being renewed every year uninterruptedly for more than five decades. The company was founded by able visionary Late Profulla Chandra Chakravorty who is still remembered in the trade for his commitment and honesty.
The company undertook almost entire Clearing and Forwarding job for exporting goods to erstwhile East Pakistan, now known as Bangladesh by Road through Petrapole Land Custom Station via Benapole on other side. Another vulnerable export was Tobacco leaf from Cylon now known as Srilanka.
